Potager Gardening - Hyssop - Plants for Edging and Garden Paths

Hyssop has a good place in the garden because it deters the Cabbage White butterfly. Hyssop should not be grown near radishes. There are three varieties of Hyssop and flower blue, red or white from June to October. If grown with catmint it makes a nice border.

In the kitchen: As a herb, it is used in broths and salads.

In the garden: Hyssop can be propagated by seed sown in April or by division
