Potager Gardening - Cosmos - Plants for Edging and Garden Paths
Cosmos work beautifully as a cut flower. Chocolate Cosmos are seen in a lot of wedding bouquets. They are a herbaceous perennial that can grow to 2 meters high. Because of their height they should be kept to the back of a small potager garden or edging of a larger garden.
Cosmos are easily grown from seed in full sun. One packet will fill a large area with flowers. Cosmos will bloom continuously until frost sets in. If left alone, Cosmos will reseed, or you can collect the seed pods for sowing next year.
